Intro-to-Radio-Television-Film Production is a blog created to promote the exchange of ideas about audio and video production for cable, broadcasting and film distribution.
This could have possibly been the worst move Jay Leno has done in his late-time career. Houses across the country won't be just tuning in to his show because of the time slot that he is in. This move has not only impacted his ratings for his show but possibly other big time shows on NBC and other networks as well.
ReplyDeleteI dont think that this is a good move for Leno either. People are used to him being a huge Late night guy and now he is moving to prime time television. This is going to cause a huge stir in primtime television talk show views. He is going to have to compete with shows like Dr. Phil, Oprah, etc... There are more competitive shows on primetime tv rather than latenight.
ReplyDeleteI actually think it was a very good move for Jay Leno to move to prime time. Leno's show will not have a problem competing with other shows as much because they come on in the afternoon while his show comes on at 9 pm. I think Leno will gain more viewers because more people will be awake to watch it. He could even gain new viewers and develop a stronger fan base.
