There are tons of ways to rent movies now a days, but NCR Corporations and MOD have found yet another way to do this. How do you think this would change the way we rent movies now?

NCR and MOD Systems today announced a digital kiosk download pilot that transforms the movie rental experience into a simple, three-step process: choosing from more than a thousand movies and TV shows stored in a kiosk, quickly downloading the title to a secure digital (SD) memory card, and playing the movie on a home television.

I dont understand why people still rent movies and why places like the movie gallery and blockbuster are still open. WIth so many sites you can legally download movies or watch from the comfort of your living room, why leave to rent a movie? When you rent a movie you have to worry about returning it ontime, late penalties etc...
